Courier-Leader photos/Paul GarrodSunny skies and warm temperatures arrived on Saturday and Sunday as Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival attendees took in wine tasting at St. Julian Winery and Distillery and Warner Vineyards.Kim Jones served as the Grand Marshal of the St. Julian Festival Parade, held Sunday, September 10, as part of Paw Paw’s Wine and Harvest Festival. Also making appearances in the parade were Brynn Cummings of Paw Paw, who recently competed in the NBC television show, America’s Got Talent. The Paw Paw Middle School student was a semifinalist and finished in the Top 5. Lauren Mroczek, Miss Shoreline, 2023, also made an appearance in the parade, which traveled down Michigan Avenue. Mroczek is a 2018 graduate of Mattawan High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences, with an emphasis in nutrition sciences from Grand Valley State University.The Paw Paw High School P. R.I.D.E. Marching Band, as well as the Vicksburg High School Marching Band, made appearances in the St. Julian Festival Parade on Sunday, Sept. 10.
