Two men found dead in pickup truck in Gladwin County pond
Two men were found dead in a Gladwin County pond on Monday, Jan.7, according to the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 4 p.m., the Gladwin County Central Dispatch received a call to the 4700 block of Beaverton Clare Road.
Officials stated that the caller said they found a pickup truck and two men in a pond. Deputies and emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found that the two men were dead.
The pickup truck and the men were recovered from the pond. The men were identified as Carl Allbee, 65, of Beaverton and John Frank, 59, of Beaverton.
The Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Beaverton Fire Department and additional members from the Billings Dive Team at the scene. Deputies said that the incident is currently under investigation.
