The LaFayette Police Department and Chief George Rampey hosted a surprise Retirement Luncheon for Mrs. Cheryl Royster last week at the Alfa Building in sincere appreciation for her 44 1/2 Years of Service with the LaFayette Police Department!
It was a day of emotional expressions, showers of gifts and great barbecue.
Chief George Rampey and his staff presented Royster with a plaque.
Mayor Kenneth Vines, City Council, and former police officers came out to support and show love.
Cheryl Royster hit the door in great tears of surprise and joy. Her family joined her and greeted her with beautiful flowers.
