Perry H. VanSickle

Perry H. VanSickle, age 62 of Farwell, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, December 24, 2021.  Perry worked hard his entire life with the majority of his career being a laborer and Assistant Chief on the pipeline.  On the off season he enjoyed plowing snow, smoking fish with his secret recipe, making his famous homemade apple pie moonshine, or just hanging out with friends and family in his garage “Perry and Lisa’s Party Palace”.
 He would help and do anything he could for anyone.  He enjoyed so many things in life, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Perry had been a Life Member of the Clare Moose Lodge, as well as a member of the Clare Farwell American Legion.
Perry is survived by his life partner Lisa Putnam; daughters Kasie (Jim) VanSicklen and Ashley (Rob) Holt; stepsons Perry and Ed Putnam; grandchildren Jamee (Jacob) Goheen, Dustin VanSicklen, Dakota and Alexandria Bacon, Rose and Brooklynn Putnam; his stepmom Jeanne VanSickle; sisters Sarah Athey, Toni Graham, Pam Schrank and Debbie Horgos.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Perry was preceded in death by his mother Eleanor VanSickle; father Robert VanSickle; grandmother Eleanor Spalding and grandfather Ira Williams.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 12 Noon with services to start at 2 P.M. officiated by Perry Athey, Perry’s brother-in-law.   Following the services a luncheon will be held at the Clare Moose Lodge.  Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Clare Farwell American Legion.  On-line condolences may be left at www.stephenson-wyman.com
