OTSEGO—Make it two wins in a row to start the season for the Otsego girls tennis team.
The Bulldogs bested Middleville 7-1 on Tuesday, March 28, to improve to 2-0 for the season.
Aly Aldrich accounted for the lone shutout for the Bulldogs, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
By contrast, the No. 4 doubles team of Annaliese Podewell and Cierra Swope were involved in the longest match of the day, winning 6-4, 6-7 (5), 16-14.
Other wins for Otsego came from: No. 2 singles Lexi Layman (6-2, 6-2); No. 3 singles Karoliina Moksi (6-1, 6-1); No. 1 doubles Sydney Grile/Anna Moore (6-3, 6-3); No. 2 doubles Sophie Maxwell/Sydney Holland (6-3, 6-3) and No. 3 doubles Ellie Korringa/Reaghan Higgins (6-0, 6-1).
