Osceola commissioners vote to give sheriff raise

MARION – The Osceola County Board of Commissioners voted at its meeting this week to set the Commissioners’ per diem at $35 for a half day, up to four hours, and $70 for a full day, over four hours. Commissioners are paid for maximum of three meetings per day.
Commissioners approved the grade, step, wage changes for the Equalization Director’s position to be effective on Jan. 1, 2023. The equalization director wage is to be set at Grade 12 Step 8.
Also approved was the grade, step, wage changes for the clerk/deputy Equalization Director to be effective on Jan. 1, 2023: with Property Descriptions Clerk/Deputy Equalization Director wage to be set at Grade 9 Step 8.
They also OKed the grade, step, wage changes for the Building Department Coordinator wage to be set at Grade 9 Step 9 effective on Jan. 1.
Commissioners approved the grade, step, wage changes for the Deputy County Clerk wage to be set at Grade 8 Step 8 effective on Jan. 1.
They also OKed the grade, step, wage changes for the Circuit Court Clerk/Chief Deputy County Clerk to be effective on Jan. 1, 2023, wage to be set at Grade 10 step 11.
Commissioners approved the grade, step, wage changes for the Coordinator’s Administrative Assistant to be effective on Jan. 1, 2023, with the wage to be set at Grade 6 step 5.
