On Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, Wallace Carmen Forrester joined wife Betty, family and friends in a grander place.
Wallace was born on Feb. 17, 1934, to Wallace Carmen and Evelyn Forrester, in Douglas. Wallace (Wally) and Betty met in 1951 and married Dec. 18, 1952.
He is survived by his children Steve, Nancy, Susan, Douglas and Theresa; his brother Harry, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Wally was blessed with two great-granddaughters, Riley and Ayden, with whom he enjoyed doing Legos and taking rides around the property in the golf cart.
Wally had many jobs — police officer, volunteer fireman, school bus driver, builder (2 boats, houses, etc.), woodworking, and construction equipment operator.
Hospice was great to work with through Wally’s final journey. If desired, donations can be made to Wings of Hope in Allegan.
