Some of her best and closest were June Nielson whom Sue considered her second mother, JoAnn Flora, Shelly Knobloch, Denise Davis, Cari Strickfaden, Lori Francisco, Deb Valenti, Pam Curtis, Cindy Stickly, Terry McClain, Penny Vanderkooi, and so many others. Sue’s canine companion, Brutus was dearest to her. Followed up by Zoe, Satie Sue, and Maggie Mae. Feline companions dear to her as well included Kitty and Grayheart. Sue’s spiritual journey wasn’t bound to organized religion, but she never left behind the teachings of Christ—she was a person of integrity always in search of the truth. Early in her life she deeply contemplated her faith and came full circle in her beliefs and committed herself to Christ.
