SMIETANA, Edward Jr. Of Paw Paw
Age 76, died on September 12, 2022. Ed was born December 14, 1945 in Edinburgh, Indiana to Edward Sr. and Eva (aka Stella) (Soberiaj) Smietana. Ed truly valued life and the experiences it has to offer. His career as a professional with Boy Scouts of America spanned over 3 decades. He was well traveled, a great listener, and an even better storyteller. A nice glass of wine and a little jazz or classical music in the background with his wife, Ginger, by his side is all it took to make a perfect evening. Ed was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Abbey. Surviving are his wife, Ginger; children: Edward III (Cynthia) Smietana, Eva (Michael) Espenan, Benjamin (Vivian) Smietana, Elizabeth (Anthony) Capezzuto, and Lee (Heather) Sullenger; grandchildren: Ethan, Caleb, Seth, Evita, Arlo, Vincent, Audrey, Anthony, Leo, and Alexandra; siblings: Patty (Bob) Steere, Chris (Bob) Craig, and Dennis (Linda) Smietana; as well as many nieces and nephews.
