Obituary: Richard A. Warner

Richard A. Warner, age 86 of Harrison, passed away surround by his family on Friday, March 24, 2023 at McLaren Bay Regional.  Richard was born the son of Henry and Dorothy (Foor) Warner on December 20, 1936 at home in Clare Counties, Arthur Twp.  He was united in marriage to Eleanore Hamilton on November 2, 1959; together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.  Richard was a graduate of Marion High School; he had retired from Dow Chemical.  He was a lifelong farmer and together with Eleanore they purchased their farm in 1962, where they continued to live.  Richard enjoyed hunting on his property in Michigan and Mule Deer hunting in Wyoming.  He liked to fish and host Pig Roasts for family and friends on his farm for 20 years.

Richard is survived by his wife, Eleanore, children Timothy (Michelle) Warner, Andy (Carla) Warner, Brian Warner and Sherrie Warner; his brothers Robert (Betty Lu) Warner, Jerry Warner and Stanley Warner; 13 grandchildren Amber (Robert) Buzanowski, Ashleigh (Derrick) Miller, Andrew Warner, Rachael (Aaron) Ramsey, Amy Warner, Kevin Warner, Jeremy Warner, Tameka White, Hazel Warner, Timothy Warner, Sally Warner, Jayden Warner and Michael Warner; 8 great grandchildren Elliaunna and Robert Buzanowski, Daizy, Noni, Anna and Charlie Miller, Willow Ramsey and Willow White as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Kenneth, his son Jeffery and sister-in-laws Loretta Warner, Mary Jo Warner and Charlotte Warner.

Visitation and Services will be held at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 2 P.M. with Pastor Bill Overton officiating.  Burial will take place in the Arthur Twp. Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Brown Corners United Brethern Church.  On-line condolences may be left at www.stephenson-wyman.com
