Mrs. Darris E. Harris, 67 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL.
Public visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 4, 2023, 2:30 PM CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Reverend Michael T. Stiggers, Sr., Pastor, and Reverend Gary L. Dixon, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her four loving daughters: Dessiree Green, Patina Green, LaKeisha Mason and Maya (Clint) Burton; grandchildren; Hasan Green, LaEric Avery, LaDarius Thomas, Dasjah (Emmanuel) Versailles, ShanDextria Pitts, Jalissa Loyd, Timothy Mason, Jr., Aubrey Burton and Clint Burton Jr; great-grandchildren; Kamarii Williams, Kylee Fleming, Olivia Young, Noah Lee, Kasydi Thomas, Kahaani Thomas, Mason Thomas, and Karter Norwood; sisters; Norma Jean Leverette, Dorothy Parkmond, Veronica Green, Veronica (Anthony) Thomas, Sharon Howell, Phyllis Green, Melinda (Jarvis) Carlisle. brothers; Bobby James Carr, Robert (Judy) Green, George (Christine) Green, Morris (Keela) Carr, Tony (Beverly) Green, Ronald Carr; aunts; Loumerrell Gray, Lucille Green; uncles, Raymond Carr, Harold Green, Homer Green, David Green, a special niece who she raised as her own, Shameka (Jonathan) Holloway, and a host of other family members and close friends.
