Mary Jane Locke Anderson– age 75 passed away on Friday, May 26th, 2023 at her home in Farwell surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 22nd, 1948 in Owosso, Michigan. She was raised in Perry Michigan and graduated from Perry High School. She worked at Deluxe Carpet Center, and owned and retired from Kent Cleaner’s on Aug. 1, 2000, as well as providing care as a CNA. She married Richard Anderson on April 25, 1999 in Bullhead City Arizona and a wonderful life with Richard began. She loved reading the News Trends pages, playing computer games, watching football; particularly the Michigan State Spartans, Detroit Lions, and LA Rams, listening to music, tending to her flowers and bird feeders and just generally being outdoors. She loved watching Richard smoking a cigar as it reminded her of her own Dad. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Richard, her children; Lynn Goucher, Traci Goucher, Angie Wilkerson, Robert McGill, Lanette McGill-Cotter, Christopher Anderson, John Scardasis, grandchildren; Kali Wilkerson, Peske and Cody Wilkerson, McKenzie Goucher, great-grandchildren; Brody, Blake, and Lake, as well as many more family members and friends. Honoring Mary Jane’s wishes, a cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life is planned for June 11th from 2pm -4pm at the Clare Moose Lodge Arrangements have been entrusted to the Campbell Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 408 W. Main Street, Farwell, Michigan.
Mary always had a smile on her face everytime I saw her! She once told me that she loved Elvis Presley music so, I hope she is up there listening to her favorite songs. Rest in peace Mary.
