Marion Ruth Bond age 79, a long time resident of Harrison passed away at her home Saturday January 13, 2024.
Marion was born December 30, 1944 in Pontiac MI to Judson and Iva (Collison) Winchester. She was united in marriage to Allen R. Bond June 10, 1961 at the RLDS church in Harrison.
Marion served on the Clare County board of FIA for several years and in the past had been active serving the community in various humanitarian activities.
In her free time Marion enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques, visiting with her family and friends and reading. She always had a book nearby. These are just a few of her interests as she had many.
Surviving Marion is her friend and companion Ken Woletz, 5 children; Shelly (Eric) Schultz of Harrison, Deborah Bowermaster of Harrison, Timothy (Joanne) Bond of Harrison, Pamula (Wayne) Henschel also of Harrison, Daniel (Carol) Bond of Clarkston, MI. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A sister, Norma (Roger) Cameron of Gladwin, MI , 2 brothers; Kenneth Winchester of Buckeye, AZ and Wayne (Tina) Winchester of Middleville, MI plus many nieces and nephews and 2 beloved fur babies; Chi Chi Rosa and Button Amelia.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years Allen Bond, infant son Gregory Bond, Son in law Allan Bowermaster, sisters; Geraldine DeBarr, Delores Trumble and Eleanor Embry.
Per her wishes cremation has already taken place and no services are planned at this time.
