On November 23, 2022 Judy received her angel wings, with her caring family by her side at Holland Hospital. Judy (Jones) Curry was born on August 1, 1958, in Allegan. She was the oldest daughter of 5 to the late George and Gloria (Sweet) Jones.
On May 22nd, 1988 she married Timothy Jay Curry, from Allegan, at the Chicora Country Chapel. Together they own and operate FLF Racecars. She was a Realtor for Re/Max, where she said many times, “I have met so many great people”. She had retired from Allegan Public Schools as a bus driver, in which she loved all of the students. It gave her joy everyday. She loved supporting the customers from FLF by traveling all over the US to watch them race. She took great pride in crocheting items for family and friends. When she had an extra moment you could find her working in her yard on her beautiful ponds and flower gardens. She would light up a room with her smile, it was her dimples! Judy was involved in many activities for helping people. In the past, she has headed up the program for Kids Hope at the Methodist Church in Allegan. Always so helpful and giving.
There was nothing that made her happier than spending time with her family. As a mother she never missed an event that her children were involved in. Now, the greatest thing in life was her grandchildren. To them she was the most awesome grandma and memaw. She was present at events when her busy life permitted. She supported her sisters in any adventure they decided to take. Along with her nieces and nephews who ventured into crazy things. She loved them all.
Left to live on with her memories are her loving husband of 34-½ years, Tim. Her 3 children, Kristopher (Billy) Meade, Lindsey (Michael) Ross, Lauren (Chad) McKenzie. Her Grandchildren, Hannah, Bailey, Chaz, Harper, Brock, Morgin, Beckett and Madeline. Her 3 sisters, Teresa (Robert) Galloway, Georgia (Tim) Meade and Kelly Germain. Her mother-in-law Betty Curry brother-in-law Robert W. Curry, sister-in-laws Linda Wolfe and Rhonda Keeber, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her companion that never left her side when she was at home, Dog Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Lorrie, her grandparents and from Florida her father-in-law Robert Curry and mother-in-law Alberta Curry.
Per her wishes, the family is being assisted by Simply Cremations. There will be a private service. Her celebration of Life will be on January 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM, Smith’s Barn, 3670 108th Ave., Allegan.
