James J. Miller, 80, of Allegan, passed away on July 16, 2023. He was born in Allegan, Michigan on February 12, 1943, to William and Nellie Miller.
Jimmy is survived by his brother, Steve; niece, Tracey; great niece, Allissa; and nephews, Duncan, Courtney, and Billy.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, William; mother, Nellie; sister Dawn; and nephew, Todd.
Upon graduating from Allegan High in 1961, Jimmy attended Western Michigan University, where he studied Engineering. After college, he worked for Allegan Construction, where he built many buildings in the surrounding area. He owned and operated Krunch Body Shop, where his love for cars flourished. He also built and owned Tornado Run Campground.
Jimmy continued to be a part of the Allegan community while working for 30 years at L. Perrigo Company, where he played a vital role in producing affordable self-care products.
Once retired, Jimmy enjoyed various hobbies, including listening to music, photography, researching family history, restoring cars, and restoring award-winning Cushman Motor Scooters. He took great pleasure in talking and reminiscing with loved ones and friends. He was a man of many stories, which he shared during his monthly class reunion luncheons. Jimmy will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at which time the funeral service will begin. Burial will take place in Miner Cemetery, Watson Township, immediately following the service.
