Jack L. Haring, age 80 of Clare, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at the MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland following a valiant fight against his extended illness with his family at his side. Jack was born the son of the late John C. and Violet (LaVoye) Haring on March 27, 1942 in Clare. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Operating Engineers Local 324 and was a member of the union for 55 years. He loved camping, the Detroit Tigers and WWF Wrestling; of which he had been to several games and matches. Jack was an avid bowler having held many offices until his illness took over; he had also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His special buddies are missing him, his kitty’s Ringo, Tiny and Bandit. He is now at peace and no longer suffering.
Jack leaves behind his wife Glenna of 55 years; they were married in Clare on August 7, 1967. Other survivors include his daughters, Toni Kamph of Texas, Jodi (Ken) Chinavare of Clare, Jackie Dimmer of Tennessee and Cindy Cavanaugh of Harrison; his grandchildren, April Vorholzer and Mindy Vorholzer both of Texas, Jimmy (Shayna) Chinavare of Clare, Samantha Chinavare of Mt. Pleasant and Sabrina Chinavare of East Lansing; many great grandchildren; his brothers George (Marilyn) Haring of Coleman, Jim Haring of Harrison, D.J. (Lori) Haring of Indiana and his sister Stacy Haring of Indiana. Jack was predeceased by his son Alan Haring, brothers Bill Haring and John Haring and a sister Darlene Fisher.
The family will receive visitors at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 2 to 8 P.M. No formal services are currently planned.
