Helen Carolyn Jarrell, age 80 of Lafayette, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. There are no public services at this time.
Mrs. Jarrell was born in Alabama and primarily worked as a Nurse’s Aide for many years. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and sister to many.
She was survived by her daughter, Cindy Strong (Jerry) of Lineville; her grandchildren, Ryan and Krista Shaver; her great-grandchildren: Tyra and Teilah Broughton and Tiana Heard; three sisters: Edna Rankin, Tommie West, and Avie Phillips; two brothers: Robert and James Allen; her nephew, Jon Rankin, plus other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dixon Allen Sr and Catherine Sadler Allen; her husband, Joe Jerrell; son, Robert “Bob” Brooks; two sisters: Barbara Boothe and Judy Brooks; and her brother, Dixon Allen Jr.
