Harry E. Stickels, 90, of Gobles passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home. Harry was born July 24, 1931 in Decatur, son of the late Leonard and Bessie Stickels. Harry was an avid golfer and a pilot. He honorably served his country as a member of the US Navy where he was stationed in California. Following his military service Harry worked for Proctor and Gamble where he started the first safety program, later teaching safety training to all staff.
Surviving are his children, Cindy (Bill) Cain, Leonard (Julie) Stickels, Tracy (Sonya) Stickels and Tonya (Scott Campbell) Smith; grandchildren, Autumn, Will, Savannah, Joe, Cory, Courtney, Justin, Adam, Allison, Keith, Tyler, Travis, TT, Terace, Crystal, Natasha, and Josh; many great and great great grandchildren; nephews, Phil, Tim, Berry and Mike; nieces, Sharon and Jackie.
He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine, a son Steven, granddaughter Sarah, siblings, Beverly Whitlock, Jack (Elsie) Stickels.
The family will meet friends on Wednesday, May 25th from 12 PM until time of funeral services at 1 PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery.
