Obituary: Eleanore V. Warner

Eleanore V. Warner, age 81 of Harrison, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, August 7, 2023 at home.  Eleanore was born one of eight children to George and Gertrude (Snyder) Hamilton on May 25, 1942 in Weidman.  She married the love of her life, Richard Warner on November 2, 1959, with him predeceasing her on March 24, 2023.  To this union were born five children.  Eleanore and Richard purchased their farm in 1962.  She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and taking vacations to the UP with Richard.  She had been a Girl Scout Troop Leader and enjoyed family gatherings and hosting pig roasts for family and friends for 20 years on the farm.

     Survivors include her children, Timothy (Michelle) Warner, Andy (Carla) Warner, Brian Warner and Sherrie Warner; a brother Bruce (Shirley) Hamilton; 13 grandchildren: Amber (Robert) Buzanowski, Ashleigh (Derrick) Miller, Andrew Warner, Rachael (Aaron) Ramsey, Amy Warner, Kevin Warner, Jeremy Warner, Tameka White, Hazel Warner, Timothy Warner, Sally Warner, Jayden Warner and Michael Warner; 8 great grandchildren: Elliaunna and Robert Buzanowski, Daizy, Noni, Anna and Charlie Miller, Willow Ramsey and Willow White and

many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her beloved son, Jeffrey Warner; parents George and Gertrude Hamilton; siblings Clarence, Theron, and John Hamilton, Alpharetta Allen, Catherine Potter and Carol Simpson; a brother in law Kenneth Warner and sisters in laws Charlotte Warner, Mary Jo Warner, Loretta Warner.

      Visitation and services will be held at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 11 A.M. with services led by Pastor Bill Overton to start at 2 P.M.  Burial will follow in the Arthur Twp.
