Dennis Gunderman, of Clare, Michigan passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Dennis will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Beth, and his children, Stacey McWethy, and Matthew (Michelle) Gunderman and his granddaughters Brooke McWethy and Bethany Gunderman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Gunderman. He is survived by his father, Glen Gunderman, and his brothers Jeff (Sue) Gunderman, Glen Gunderman and Brian (Laura) Gunderman, and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis loved to fish and camp with his wife Beth and family. He had a quick wit and a dry sense of humor that he loved to share with his friends. Dennis was trained as a mechanical draftsman and worked as a sales engineer for Unified Brands Corporation. He was a careful workman and took pride in taking care of his yard and vehicles. He attended First Baptist Church of Clare, Michigan and had worked with his wife in AWANA Club, Junior Church, and Nursery.
A funeral service in his honor, will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Clare, 302 Wilcox Pkwy., Clare, Mi., with his brother, Pastor Jeff Gunderman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM, and at the Church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Clare.
