David Olan Blasingame a resident of of LaFayette died February 8, 2023.
A graduate of Byrd High School in Shrevesport La. He also attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston La.
David spent his early years working for his Dad in the Oil fields in Louisiana and Texas after which he persued a career with Olin Chemical in Lake Charles, Louisiana later transferring to McIntosh, Alabama where he retired after 34 years. Upon retirement David enjoyed traveling in his Motorhome with his wife Charlotte adventuring and meeting new friends, eventually making LaFayette his forever home.
Preceded in death by his Mother Evelyn, Step Father Victor Moore and father James Olan Blasingame.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Charlotte,
