David Burkey, 41, of Clare, died on February 23, 2023. His death was completely unexpected and his family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Dave was born on November 8, 1981 and is survived by his mother – Sue, brother – Chester, and 8-year old son – Liam.
Anyone who knew Dave knew that he was incredibly kind-hearted. He was always willing to help his friends and family, and he will be greatly missed.
Liam would like people to know the following about his Dad: “He was a really nice guy. He was a builder. He never quits, like when he was fixing the water. He was a great fisherman. He was understanding. He wasn’t very mean when he got really mad. He was a great friend. And he was a great Dad.”
There will be a gathering (10:00 am) and funeral service (11:00 am) on March 11th at Daniel’s Band Church in Beaverton, and a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm on the same date, at the Clare Moose Family Center.
