Christopher Lee Gossett Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 6, 2023. (5-21-67 to 7-6-23) he was 56 yrs of age. He served in the Navy Reserves for 2 years right out of High school. After serving, he became a Semi-Truck Driver for a few years. He worked for Eton Corp. testing Transmissions.
He met and married Michelle Cooper. They were married a few years then they divorced. Chris then moved to Florida and lived with his grandparents for a while. He drove different trucks while there. He met his second wife Charlotte Kapellen got a job driving Semis again and both went out on the road doing Cross- Country Deliveries. They were married for about 10 years before divorcing. They moved back to Michigan where he worked in manufacturing Steel products, maintenance, plumbing, car repairs, computer works, gardening, hunting, and fishing.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, his father Roger Scott, and his Step- Father Larry Macek.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Janie Macek, brother Ken Macek (Debra), Nephew Kenneth Macek, Niece Lisa Macek, Grandnephew Nolan Larry Tull Macek. Several Special Uncles and Aunts, Special Nieces and Nephews and Special Close Friends Dan (Missy) Ross. The Hall Family.
Chris’s body was donated to Gifts of Life/ Great Lakes Transplant Association some of his body parts and organs to help other people with special needs or uses. He was then cremated through Stark’s Heritage Chapel Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, Michigan. There was no public Funeral Service or burial, just Family and a few close Friends at a later date.
