Bonna Lou Nuckles, age 90 of Clare, gained her wings peacefully at home on Monday, July 17, 2023. Bonna was born on May 2, 1933 in Athens, Ohio. She was the soulmate of Delmore Nuckles who she was united in marriage to on May 15, 1952 in Detroit. Survivors include her children, Robert (Pam) Nuckles of Metamora and Brenda (Bob) Robbins of Farwell; grandchildren, Autumn (John) Mester of Clare, Trisha (Bill) Hall of Colorado, Chad (Heather) Nuckles of Holly; Nana Banana to Austin Walker and Katie Mester of Clare and great great grandmother to Liam and Ella Hall, Vanessa and Tyler Nuckles Hayden, Wesley, Oaklyn Walker. In her younger years she was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed ceramics, bowling and bingo with all her closes friends, along with playing cards till all hours of the night while hosting family get togethers on holidays. She and Del loved to travel after his retirement and enjoy the casinos. She will be dearly missed by everyone! She was proceeded in death her husband Del, her parents Jessie and Ethel Scott; her brothers Bill, Dick, and Jim Scott and many friends. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place with no formal services planned. Arrangements were handled by the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.
