12/29/1943 – 1/20/2024
Barb was born Barbara Lee Miller, December 29, 1943, to parents Woodrow and Thelma Miller in Farwell Michigan. (She often mentioned that she was born at home, not in a hospital) She graduated as Barbara Gordon from Farwell High School, class of 1962.
She worked most of her life as a waitress, even while raising 7 children. She always said one of her greatest accomplishments was managing to get all 7 of the children to graduate from Farwell High School. She loved working in her garden, camping in Ludington and reading books. Sadly, she left behind her Yorkie Keke. She loved her animals.
She spent most of her life in Lake and Farwell Michigan until most of her family moved away. She eventually ended up in Grant Alabama near her daughter Julie. She passed away at Marshall Medical Center in Guntersville, Alabama, and had been at Barfield Health Care for the last year.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Gordon, Duane Loomis, and Kenneth Michael Lang, Her brother Jerry Miller, her son Danial Gordon, and her daughters Danielle Gordon Warner and Dawn Loomis Tate. Also, a great brother-in-law Tony.
She has left this earthly world behind, leaving a sister Wanda Agle, children Julie (Nate) Scoby, Diana (Don) Wittkopp, Steve (Dawn) Loomis, Lyle Loomis along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by many.
