New deputy Joelyn Gamble-Brown joins sheriff’s office

Joelyn Gamble-Brown is sworn in as Osceola County’s newest deputy

REED CITY – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has brought on its newest recruit, Deputy Joelynn Gamble-Brown.
“Deputy Gamble-Brown recently graduated from West Shore Community College Police Academy. While attending the academy she received awards in subject control and broke three school records in physical fitness,” the department said in a press release.
“She is a graduate from Reed City High School and enjoys spending time with the big family that surrounds and supports her. Not only is she active in the community, she also volunteers at Evart and Hersey Fire Departments.”
“I love helping in any way that I can. I want to make a difference while serving the community I was raised and live in,” Brown said.
“We are very excited Deputy Gamble-Brown chose to start her new adventure with the Osceola County Sheriff’s office,” the department said in a statement. “We are very happy to have her on our team serving the community in this new capacity.”
