Marion NHS collects 65 points of blood

MARION – In various school announcements Marion Public Schools has report all K-12 students receive breakfast and lunch every day.
It was also reported the Marion National Honor Society collected 65 pints of blood during four drives this year!  This puts the school only five donations shy of the yearly goal of 70 which comes with a donation of $250 from Versiti to the local NHS chapter.  Versiti has offered a way to help meet that goal by donating at other local drives.
Anyone eligible and willing, should consider making an appointment and donating.
To count, donors need to write “Marion” in the appointment notes section.  If you already have an appointment at one of these drives, let the staff know that you would like to add “Marion” to the notes.
Class meetings to nominate Prom Representatives will be held on Friday, April 28th during fifth hour.
The prom has been scheduled for May 6 at the Olde Mill Venue from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are on sale now to May 5 during High School lunch. Tickets are one for $20 or two for $30. Students can also pick up their Guest passes at that time. They will be due to the MHS office no later than May 3rd at 2:50 p.m.
