Marion hiring ordinance enforcement officer

MARION – At last week’s Board of Commissioners meeting, the board approved the Prosecutor’s
request for an Intern Assistant Prosecutor.
Commissioners approved the EMT Class at Pine River High School for the 2023/2024 school year. The board approved the Board of Canvassers Appointment of Renee Watkins as recommended by the Clerk.
It was approved by the Board Chair to sign the Reliance FY24 Contracts for Home Delivered Meals and Supplements.
Commissioners approved having the Board Chair sign the Emergency Management Performance Grant FY24 Work Agreement.
The board approved the Child Care Fund FY24 Grant as presented and the Child and
Parent Legal Representation FY24 Grant as presented.
Commissioners approved having the Prosecutor’s Office accept the Crime Victim Rights FY24 Grant as presented.
Commissioners denied the FOIA Appeal request.
Commissioners voted for the Commission on Aging to apply for the Michigan Community Center and Neighborhood Initiative Grant.
The board approved the proposal submitted by KRAM Construction & Design for the Construction of the E.M.S. Evart Station at a cost of $722,735.15 and to allow the Administrator to work with Kram to put together the contract.
