Marion High School has week-long homecoming celebration

MARION – It’s Marion High School’s homecoming Spirit week from Monday through Friday.
The theme is Taylor Swift’s Era. Marion’s version.
Monday was class color day. It was neon for the middle school, blue for freshman class, red for sophomores, white for juniors, black for seniors and gray for staff. Evermore flannel day is Tuesday. Barbie/Ken day (wear pin) was Wednesday. Thursday was midnights pajamas day. Friday is maroon and white day.
The homecoming parade lineup was at 4:45 p.m. with the start time of 5:30 p.m. The sophomore tailgate fundraiser was after the parade at the high school. The homecoming football game is set for Friday night.
In other school news, students in the 9th grade got the opportunity to tour two local companies. Students toured Pollington Machine Tool and Morgan Composting. Students asked questions about careers in both of these fields.
