It was a very fun filled day in the City of LaFayette on Friday. The day started out with LaFayette Main Street celebrating their one year as a designated city with MainStreet of Alabama by hosting an open house from 11am -2 pm.
Citizens gathered at the Main Street office to tour the office and meet the Executive Director DeAnna Hand and the Main Street board members.
Executive Director DeAnna Hand said: Our Open House was a huge success and many thanks to all who attended and volunteered! A special shout out to our Organization Committee Chair Ansley Emfinger and Promotions Chair Dori Harmon for making this a spectacular event. All gathered and visited making our efforts all worth it! The delicious food from Krave Korner was icing on the cake! Over 100 people in attendance showing the love and commitment to our sweet town of LaFayette! This is community and why we #lovelafayette.
