LAWRENCE – The Village of Lawrence Downtown Development Association (DDA) will hold an open house, Tuesday, Jan. 11, beginning at 6 p.m. at Conquer Nutrition 106 W. St. Joseph St. The event will serve as an official greeting from the Village of Lawrence, the DDA and the community.
Conquer Nutrition, as well as Sunfinity Tanning, recently opened for business in downtown Lawrence.
Also, during that time, an announcement of the expansion of the business incubator program will be announced.
The purpose of the DDA Incubator Program is designed to help recruit and retain retail businesses in vacant store fronts in the DDA district. The program will offer rent subsidies to business tenants as funding permits per the approved fiscal year budget, or a monthly subsidy to an owner operator store front business that has been vacant for at least six consecutive months.
