Theater fans were treated to not one, but two local productions last weekend.
Otsego High School presented “High School Musical,” while Plainwell High School presented “Mamma Mia.”
OHS (seen at left) opened its run on Wednesday, March 22, with a sensory performance. Evening shows followed from Thursday, March 23, through Saturday, March 25, with a matinee on Sunday, March 26.
PHS (at right) had evening shows on Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, with a Sunday matinee.
“The show was incredible,” PHS vocal music director Denise Beauchamp said. “Everyone had a good time. Lots of laughs, memories, music and happy tears.” (Otsego photo by Gary Shook; Plainwell photo provided)

  1. Is there anywhere I can purchase a photo of the musical Mamma Mia that was not able to be performed. My granddaughter Hollianne was in the musical and I’m putting together a shadow box for her graduation. Thank you!
