Harrison and Farwell’s girls and boys bowling teams met at the Riverwood Bowling Alley this past Saturday to compete in a conference match. The Lady Eagles took the win over the Hornets, Kameren Osborn bowled a 182 and Emily Hall bowled a 148. For Harrison, Mikkemmely Shea bowled a 149 and Brittany Hansen hit 144 in game one. The teams finished 17-13 on the day, Farwell in the lead.
While the girls were battling it out, the boys were on the other side fighting just as hard. This match tied 15-15, so the victory depended on the total pinfall. Between Dakota Wardle’s 192 and 168, Malcolm Crawford stepping up and bowling a 145, and the help of the rest of the team, the Hornets couldn’t spare the pins to win. The totals were 1358-1309. Farwell boys also take the win from the Hornets.
