MCBAIN – Grayling defeated McBain 4-2 in a predistrict game on Tuesday to end the Ramblers’ baseball.

“Suan Kim pitched really well tonight,” McBain coach Shaun Mulder said. “I’m really proud of how far he has come as a pitcher this season. He worked extremely hard at it and it showed by the end of the season. Trey came in after that and picked up where he last left off. He has worked on being able to locate all 3 of his pitches and that really helps keep hitters off balance.

“Eli Baker hit the ball hard all night and we will miss him in the middle of our lineup next year. Issac Baas did everything we asked of him all year and we’ll miss his leadership.”

It was a fun season for the Ramblers.

“We will miss our seniors but I can’t help but get excited with some of the guys we have coming back next year,” Mulder said. “Carson Murph also had a double and hit the ball hard tonight.”
