What’s better than a fashion show?
A fashion show that raises money for a good cause, of course.
And The Rabbit Boutiques—located at 118 E. Bridge St. in downtown Plainwell—is hosted just such an event with its 2024 Fashion Show on Thursday, Jan. 25.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the show, which is scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m., will go to Sylvia’s Place.
Sylvia’s Place is Allegan County’s only domestic violence safe house. It is located at 650 Grand St. in Allegan.
The event is being co-hosted by 47 Strings Boutique, which has one of its two locations inside The Rabbit Boutiques. The other location is in Paw Paw.
“We are so excited to announce that we plan on adding some fun to the end of January,” said a post about the fashion show on The Rabbit Boutique’s Facebook page.
Seating for the fashion show is limited and tickets are required. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in person at The Rabbit Boutiques or online at https://www.paypal.com/instantcommerce/checkout/SK3HVCLBAE5MS.
The event will feature sales throughout the shop.
Plainwell Flowers will be providing posies to each guest and MI Grounds will provide coffee.
Other refreshments include Pam’s Pastry Gourmet Dip Mixes, Crunchy Cravings of Kalamazoo and Cooke Tavern Soups.
