Farwell Varsity Softball kicked off their season Tuesday night on their home field with a double header. The Tawas Braves made the trip down to play in 31 degree weather with a windchill of 20 degrees.
Despite cold weather conditions, both teams played well. Farwell beat Tawas both games by 2 runs. Final scores, 7-5, 8-6.
The Eagles will be back in action, weather permitting, today (Friday) at 4pm in Farwell against Pine River.
