Allegan County News & Union Enterprise Family safe but Marshall Street house heavily damaged Posted on February 16, 2022February 16, 2022 Author Jordan WilcoxComment(0) 838 Views The Allegan Fire Department responded to 237 Marshall Street at 5am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Upon arrival, the crew found the attached two-stall garage engulfed in flames. The residents, a husband, wife and 2 children, exited the home safely. By 6:30am, the fire was extinguished, but the 2 cars inside the garage and truck parked just outside were a total loss. Fire Chief Nick Brink shared that the origin of the fire appears to be electrical, but he will continue the investigation. Assisting on scene were the Hopkins and Otsego Fire Departments, Life EMS, and Officer Josh Morgan of the Allegan Police Department. (Photos: G. Voss)
