Jamie Eymer, of LaGrange, Ind., was hired by the city of Sturgis as director at Sturges-Young Center for the Arts, effective Sept. 25.
In June, Eymer joined SYCA as event coordinator.
She brings experience in marketing, sales, hospitality and event rental.
Eymer was born and raised in northern Indiana. She graduated in 2013 from Manchester University in North Manchester, Ind., obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. She has held positions with various companies, all in the realm of event-coordination, hospitality and customer service.
Eymer said she looks forward to filling areas at Sturges-Young with additional rentals and SYCA-hosted events, notably the 2023-24 “Performance Series,” which opens in October.
