Snowcoming Queen & King: Ayla Smith, Trevor Lundbom

MARION — Stacy Baker, Marion MPACT co-adviser and MHS Spanish/English Teacher, reported
last week, Marion Junior-Senior High School showed its Marion Eagle spirit for Snowcoming 2023.
“ In addition to competing in their regular schedule of sporting events and supporting our teams from the stands, students and staff participated in various themed dress-up days,” Baker said. “The week started with wear black day. Tuesday everyone wore a team jersey. Marion Eagles imitated the fashion sense of actor Adam Sandler on Wednesday. We saw everything from cut off jeans and flannel to argyle socks and polo shirts on Thursday for country club versus country day. On Friday, Eagle fans sported our school colors with pride.“Later that evening representatives from each class appeared on the 2023 Snowcoming Court. The ninth grade class representatives were Kaitlin Coger and Cayden McCrimmon. The 10th grade class representatives were Donna Mills and Micheal Hall. Kaylee Britton and Logan Nobles represented the 11th grade class. Competing for Snowcoming Queen from the 12th grade were Rebecca Eichhorn, Catherine McCauley, and Ayla Smith. Snowcoming King candidates from the 12th grade were Arthur Mills and Trevor Lundbom.
“Throughout the day on Friday, high school students voted online. 2022 Snowcoming Queen Emily England and King Jordan Wood were on hand to pass their crowns,” Baker said Marion High School and the members of MPACT would like to congratulate the 2023 Snowcoming Princess Kaitlin Coger and Prince Cayden McCrimmon and the 2023 Snowcoming Queen Ayla Smith and King Trevor Lundbom.
“Students celebrated together at the 2023 Snowcoming dance hosted by MPACT with music provided by Sound Productions.”
