Adults and children enjoyed time at the inflatables thanks to the Friends of the Allegan District Library!

Around all the construction in Downtown Allegan, the city celebrated Bridgefest 2023. Locust Street was filled with Community Tents and Arts and Crafts, the Hubbard St. Parking Lot held the Ferris Wheel, Fun House and fantastic food vendors, Trowbridge St. hosted cars of all vintage and models, Hanson Park’s parking lot was filled with Inflatables, and the Riverfront entertained children and adults.
The day began with The Red Turtle 5K and 10K races sponsored by Riverfront Nutrition. A wonderful breakfast was available at the Good Shepherd Church thanks to Delightful Gatherings. Then the fun began with the Inflatables hosted by the Friends of the Allegan District Library and time to sign up for Summer Reading. Locust Street began buzzing with community tents and arts and crafts. The Ferris Wheel, Fun House and Food Court opened then music could be heard from the Riverfront Stage. By early evening, chairs saved places while family and friends enjoyed visiting until the Zion Lion Reggae Concert began and the fireworks lit up the sky.
