Commissioners hire Kram Construction for EMS station

MARION – The Osceola Board of Commisioners voted at Tuesday’s meeting to approve Kram Construction and Design for the proposed design to be released for bidding for the E.M.S. Station in Evart.
“We approved this two weeks ago and now we’re putting in our for bids,” commissioner Tim Michell of Marion, said. “The station will be built just north of Evart.”
Commissioners approved the Sheriff Department to move forward with establishing the required committee and submit an RFP for Mental Health Transports.
The board voted to approve the Maintenance department to replace the Seven (7) Ton AC at the Courthouse with Two Three Ton AC units from
Advanced Mechanical at a cost of $18,234.00 and JC Electric for $1,200.
“This will gives us more flexibility and it’s going to cost so that we’ll be under budget,” Michell said. “We’re putting two smaller units in instead of one big one.”
Commissioners voted to approve the board chair to sign the FY24 Mecosta/OsceoIa Treatment Court Grant as presented by Jacob Buse. The board approved the Jury Board appointments as presented by the County Clerk.
