Clare wrestling has exciting week of action

The Clare wrestling team had an exciting week of action last week, attending multiple tournaments and coming out on top.
First, the team went to Ovid Elise on Jan. 3 and won both duals against OE and Potterville. While going against Ovid Elise, Byson Hernandez earned his 100th win.
There was also a Girls Tournament on Jan. 5 in Gladwin. Savannah Buzzelli went 3-1 and took fifth place, and Ann Marie Green went 3-0 and took first place.
The team then travelled to St. Louis for a tournament on Jan. 6, where they came in second overall. Several wrestlers placed in the top five. Jake Punches was 1st, Holden Hollingshead was 1st, Carter Smedley was 2nd, Collin Howitt was 3rd, Alden Tait was 3rd, Deven Wheeler was 4th, Dylan Kruskamp was 4th, and Wyatt Dole was 5th.
