Clare, Harrison cross country teams run in Cadillac invitational

The Clare and Harrison cross county teams ran in the Cadillac Veterans Serving Veterans Invitational at the Veterans Serving Veterans Park on Sept. 23. The Clare boys took first place in their race, while the Clare girls took third.
Both teams ran in the blue division races. For the Clare boys, Brad White was 1st (15:55.28), Nic Porter was 5th (16:48.89), Andrew Klaus was 8th (17:04.54), Connor Schmidt was 17th (17:39.68), Neiko Ketchum was 29th (18:15.54), Christian Villa-Bilton was 36th (18:24.69), Kona Crump was 50th (19:03.19) and Caiden Gaskill was 62nd (19:28.40).
For the Harrison boys, Jacob Bowermaster was 69th (19:47.07), Daniel Stewart was 101st (21:23.86), Logan Young was 102nd (21:26.21), Victor Krueger was 108th (21:46.21), Malachi Coulson was 113th (21:53.00) and Eli Wing was 115th (22:04.39).
For the Clare girls, Sophia Buzzelli was 2nd (19:32.19), Elizabeth Letherer was 21st (21:39.24). Lauren Leis was 29th (22:10.20), Taylor Seibt was 35th (22:45.31), Catherine Taft was 44th (23:17.52), Lily Ward was 67th (24:18.90), Brooklinn Barcia was 70th (24:26.65) and Ana Long was 113th (28:03.52).
For the Harrison girls, Madylynne Gross was 117th (28:32.22), Nevaeh Keblbeck was 119th (28:52.91) and Isabela Heath was 126th (30:01.63).
Clare’s next meet with be on Sept. 30 at the Shepherd Bluejay Invite at Shepherd High School, and Harrison’s next meet with be on Sept. 27 at the Apples to Apples XC at Uncle John’s Cider Mill in St. Johns.
