Allegan’s Festive Fridays began on December 2, 2022 with specials in the shops and hundreds of people wandering the streets and huddling along the sidewalks of Downtown to watch the Christmas Parade that heralded Santa’s arrival.
Allegan’s Festive Fridays continue on Friday, December 9, 2022 with Art Hop featuring artists and craftsmen of all genre, plus live reindeer and Santa at the Allegan District Library. Then on Friday, December 16, 2022, food and beverages will be featured with Santa at City Hall.
Free 4pm movies at the Regent Theater feature 1974 film The Year Without a Santa Claus on December 9th, and the 1954 classic White Christmas on December 16th.
