MCBAIN – “We had an amazing meet last Friday at the Clare invitational. The girls won the small school division and came in 4th overall out of 16 teams,”McBain coach Susan Maloney said.
“We had a great day as many of the kids got outstanding times and PRs in their field events. I was very proud of all the girls and their determination.’
Highlights from Friday’s Clare’s Invitational:
Girls: 1st in small schools, 4th overall out of 16 teams.
Isabel Rozeveld: 1st in discus – 114-11 & 2nd in shot – 32-5.
Peyton Grant: 1st in 400 – 101.08
4×400 relay (Gabby Verkermoes, Analiese Fredin, Aubrey Vandepol, and Peyton Grant): 3rd – 4:20.93
Boys: 4th in small schools
Mack Bontekoe 2nd in discus – 139-01
Ben Rodenbaugh: 2nd in high jump – 6-0
