Bulldogs win two, lose two in busy week

The LaFayette Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team had back-to-back games twice on the road this past week.
On January 10th the Bulldogs traveled down to Newsite Al. to take on the Generals. The Bulldogs came back with the victory 60-58. A Woody had 14 points, 10 total rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.J Williams added 10 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 2 steals. M Dunn scored 9 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. D Vines and J Combs both had 7 points for the Bulldogs.
On January 11th the Bulldogs headed to Beauregard to take on the Hornets. LaFayette came back with another victory 63-53. A Woody led the Bulldogs with 22 points, 13 total rebounds and 4 steals. D Vines and T Harrington both had 8 points for the Bulldogs. Vines added 3 total rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.Harrington added 10 total rebounds and 3 steals. M Dunn had 7 points, 9 assists and 1 steal.J Combs added 6 points, 4 total rebounds and 1 steal and 1 assist.
The Handley Tigers nudged the Bulldogs back to back on January 14th and January 17th.
The Bulldogs hosted the Handley Tigers at home after their scheduled game against Ranburne was cancelled on Friday the 14th. The Tigers won 67-58. V. Singh led the Bulldogs with 25 points for the night, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. A. Woody had 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. J Williams 9 points, 4 assists and 1 steal. J Combs 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
Monday night January 17 the Bulldogs traveled to the Handley Tigers den. The Bulldogs came up short again against the Tigers.
The Bulldogs will travel to the Lanett den on Friday January 21st to take on the Panthers.
