$500k CDBG grant for water plant repairs received by city

By John West The City of LaFayette has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for $500,000. The grant money will go towards making much needed repairs to the city water treatment plant. EAMC COVID hospitalizations near peak

CURRENT HOSPITALIZATIONS NEAR 2ND PEAKOn Sunday, East Alabama Health matched its April 2020 peak of 54 COVID-19 hospitalizations and surpassed that total this morning with 61 patients.
