The girls swim & dive teams from Allegan and Hamilton each picked up a win on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The Tigers outlasted South Haven 95-86, while the Hawkeyes bested Mona Shores 112-74.
In its victory, Allegan won nine of the 12 events, including all three relays.
Individually, the duo of Bella Festerling and Maddie Antkoviak placed one-two in the 100-yard freestyle and the 200 free.
Eliza DeLaet was a double winner as well, placing first in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly. Lilli Kelley won the 100 backstroke and Lizzy Ehrich took top honors in the 100 breaststroke.
Winning relays for Allegan were: the 200 medley team of Kelley, Ehrich, DeLaet and Nolynn Coombs; the 200 freestyle team of Festerling, DeLaet, Coombs and Antkoviak; and the 400 freestyle team of Antkoviak, Kelley, Ehrich and Festerling.
Additional top-three performances for the Tigers came from Bailee Dilley (second in diving), Callie Borst (third diving), Ehrich (third in the 200 individual medley), Coombs (second in the 50 frees and third in the 100 breaststroke), Kelley (third in the 50 free), Rainah Spohn (third in the 100 butterfly), Olivia Penrod (third in the 100 free and 100 backstroke) and Odessa Barnhart (third in the 500 free).
The medley relay team of Penrod, Penrod, Spohn and Borst placed third, as did the 400 free relay of Barnhart, Spohn, Penrod and Penrod.
For Hamilton, top performers included Lydia Lucas (first in the 100 free and second in the 50 free), Jocelyn Borg (first in the 100 yard breaststroke), Addie Grabinski (first in the 200 yard free) and the 400 free relay team of Lucas, Grace Langeland, Grabinski and Emma DenUyl (first).
Layla Winklepleck took top honors in diving for Hamilton, cracking the 200-point barrier for the first time this season with a score of 204.95 points.
