KALAMAZOO—The Allegan girls bowling team entered its showdown with Comstock at Continental Lanes undefeated.
And the Tigers left the match the same way, improving to 11-0 with a 24-6 win.
The Allegan boys also won, claiming the 26-4 victory to up their record to 9-1-1.
The match started a bit slowly for the Allegan girls, as they lost the first baker game 134-120. But the Tigers regrouped to take the second baker game 158-91 before winning both regular games 706-568 and 716-522.
Leah Snyder had a team-best 173 for Allegan in game one, followed by Audrey Brink (172) and Savannah Beilfuss (168). Snyder (193) and Brink (175) had the top scores from game two.
On the boys side, Allegan took the baker games 151-115 and 180-140 before winning the regular games 783-708 and 797-745.
Andrew Snyder went for a 235 in game one and a 194 in game two. Anderson Zoch added a 183 and Logan Locatis added a 179 in the second game.
“The boys went out on a mission to avenge their loss to Comstock earlier in the year and succeeded,” Allegan coach Don Lamb said.
On Wednesday, Jan. 25, Allegan faced Martin and earned wins of 27-3 for the girls and 28-2 for the boys.
The Allegan girls took the baker games 174-107 and 175-97. The regular games went to the Tigers by scores of 756-613 and 762-584. Beilfuss (201 in game one), Rainah Spohn (205 in game two) and Leah Snyder (204 in game two) each broke 200 in a game.
The Allegan boys won the baker games 178-142 and 121-118 and captured the regular games 815-738 and 781-580.
Zoch had a 199 in game one and Andrew Snyder had a 225 in game two.
