All ballot issues in Osceola County receive thumbs up

MARION – Osceola County voters approved various ballot proposals on the Tuesday primary ballot.
By a 3,371-2,183 tally, voters approved the MSU Extension & 4H services proposal.
It was passed 147-81 in Highland Township, 171-147 in Marion Township and 107-87 in Middle Branch Township.
Voters OKed County the SRO and sheriff general operations proposal 3,493-2,092. It passed 142-87 in Highland Township, 107-87 in Middle Branch Township and 195-134 in Marion Township.
The county road patrol millage also passed heavily 3,855-1,738. It cleared 157-74 in Highland Township, 216-113 in Marion and 123-73 in Middle Branch.
The city of Evart had a police millage renewal proposal, which passed 201-88. Evart Township passed a road millage proposal 233-132.
Middle Branch Township had a millage proposal pass 141-52.
There were some school millage proposals on the ballot. Evart Public Schools millage proposal passed 884-527. It passed 199-92 in the city of Evart, 229-132 in Evart Township and 153-91 in Osceola Township.
McBain Rural Schools had a millage renewal proposal. Osceola County voters approved it 87-34 with a 86-34 count in Highland Township and 1-0 in Marion Township.
Reed City voters passed a millage renewal proposal 1,022-560.
